Shipping Loyalty Program

The Shipping Loyalty Program was the project for one of the online stores in UK. We have worked remotely as an extended agile team with time-to-time business trips to the customer. The project was about implementing new shipping loyalty program mechanism in current online store solution. They wanted to provide their clients from different countries with special offers after they have bought at least one product. Besides, this shipping loyalty program functionality has to be configurable from internal tool, namely, admin should have an opportunity to set up time, country, description, web site and etc. We have worked as a part of their team by using TDD, Three Amigos and other best practices that they have.

Delivery Service Integration

The Delivery Service Integration was the project for one of the biggest wallpaper companies in UK. We have worked remotely as an agile team with time-to-time business trips to the customer. The project was about integrating their internal system, namely, Dynamics AX with one of the biggest UK delivery services. They wanted to reduce manual work and make an automatic delivery after someone has bought wallpaper on their web site. The customer has requested brand new server-less architecture and we have developed this project by using the latest server-less stack from Microsoft, namely, Azure Cloud technologies (Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps).

Meetings Manager

The Meetings Manager was the project for one of the biggest technological stock exchange in the world. We have worked remotely as an agile team with the client from USA, New York. The project was complex COM extension for MS Office Outlook for more than ten thousands corporate clients that helps them easily manage their event/appointments and share them between users from external systems. The extension gives an opportunity to create events/appointments with additional fields and information by using native MS Outlook functionality. Besides, users can use lightweight version of an extension and add just ICS calendar with all the events from internal system.

Profile Builder

The Profile Builder was the project for one of the biggest technological stock exchange in the world. We have worked remotely as an agile team with the client from USA, New York. The project was about helping people who work in financial area to easily build financial reports with dozens of formulas that have to be calculated at runtime. As well, the report generation engine had to support different formats like Excel, Word, PowerPoint or PDF. Besides, one of the parts is an integration with external partners, as they have important fresh financial data that needs for customer formulas. This was a challenging project, as one of the requirements was to support more than 10.000 corporate clients (as an example the whole Google is just one corporate client).

With the social distancing trend, demand for sanitizers, cleaning products and services is constantly growing. Extra traffic, new customers and a significant number of orders encouraged Optograd to turn to e-commerce software development. The customer needed a catalog of all the goods and services provided. A quick and user-friendly interface of personal accounts should help to make a wholesale order without delay. The frontend should be upgraded to implement new features. Incremental stack was upgraded that implied the use of faster and more efficient frameworks, libraries, and algorithms.

Python development with the django-rest framework on the back-end in combination with ReactJS on the front-end was an ideal fit for these requirements. 

The UI of the website provides search functionality within the catalog which allows users to pick an item within a selected category and add products to the cart.

Peer-to-peer rental marketplace

The customer’s objective was to develop a user-friendly marketplace that allows users to rent theirs and others’ items. According to the specific requirements, the task faced several challenges: signing in process should be available via social media,the booking system had to be synchronized with a calendar, each user needed rating points, opportunity to rent for both registered and non-registered users, notifications connection via SMS.

Secure and scalable infrastructure for implementing the social login via AWS Cognito and the user rating system via back-end was designed

Fast food chain delivery

Easy Soup needed a solution to synchronize retailers’ points-of-sale system with online delivery accounts. The system had to include a website with an interactive design, food catalog, contact form, personal accounts, and connection with delivery. The customer also wanted to implement a loyalty program where users could earn points for retail and online shop orders. The system had to feature the highest level of performance and scalability to collect, process, and display orders in real time. The existing solution was slow and could not satisfy the client’s growing needs.
